I understand exactly what you mean. I just redesigned my blog as well. I just got tired of looking at the same colors all the time. lol. That's how I am when it comes to hairstyles too. I try to switch it up as often as I can.
It's funny because my husband is the opposite. He will keep the same template and hairstyle forever. For your blog, you can never go wrong with earth tones. Keep up the good work.
